instrument.games is a collection of browser games for practicing music reading and rhythm. Sight reading, rhythm, harmony, and fingering drills run in the browser with no install, and work with a MIDI keyboard or microphone if you have one.

Progress, scores, ranks, and achievements are saved to your account so you can pick up where you left off and compare results on the leaderboards.

The site is built and maintained by Josh Stovall, a musician and software developer. Every game here started as a drill worth doing badly on paper first — the kind of repetition that only pays off when something keeps score.
